What is the best mulching mower?
After 12 years my old Craftsman died. I decided to upgrade to a rear self propelled because of an incline in my yard. Much to my dismay the new Craftsman rear propelled mower was horrible! I could not cut the lawn without raising the setting so high it was hardly cutting anything. It would choke up and die every few yards. After returning it I tried another brand, Husqvarna (CS?), only to have the rip cord break after 2 uses. Brought it back and now looking for just a plain old mulcher, no special bells or whistles, no propelled. It seemed like the propelled ones only slowed me down. BTW...My yard is almost 1/3 acre. Thanks.
honda have some nice reliable mowers and they have decent 4 stroke motors (cost a bit more but worth it)
