Why is the engine pulley too hot to touch on my riding mower?
The engine pulley and belt on my Craftsman LT1000 is too hot to touch after use. Last week, the first pulley came apart and I just replaced the pulley and belt. Is it normal for the belt and pulley to be very hot after use?
The pulley will get as hot as the rest of the engine.
