What could be the problem with my craftsman riding mower (18.5hp briggs & straton) OHV intek engine.?
It was sitting unused for about 2 years until i started to work on it and i have replaced:spark plugs,both ignition coils,fuel tank, starter solenoid,carb float,fuel solenoid,battery. and i have cleaned the carb already. it just sits there and cranks but dosent even try to start unless i spray carb cleaner or put gas in the carburetor. I have also replaced the fuel pump so i know that it is getting fuel up to the carb fuel intake. What could be the problem?

When i bump the key to start it, the fuel line that goes to the card shoots out gas.
You may have replaced the fuel pump but are you actually "sure" fuel is getting to the carb?
Check the gas tank outlet and line leading to the carb to make sure it isn't plugged with gummed fuel or some other matter.
