Are gang reel mowers any good?
I have a little problem. I just moved to a home with three acres of land. I barely managed to get in the house. Now I have to cut the grass. I only have about 1500 dollars. I hear bad things about baseline riding mowers. Anyone know if these gang reels are any good. I could pull with four wheeler.
Is the area you are mowing an open rough field or a nice smooth lawn?
Gang reels are made for smooth lawns but an ATV will probably do a pretty good job of tearing up the lawn unless equipped with turf tires. If its a rough field you are mowing take a took at tow behind mowers that use a separate engine.
