Is there such a thing as the "finger fairy"?
The neighbor kid had an unfortunate accident with the lawn mower today (tip: disconnect the power cable from the spark plug before removing old tennis shoes and similar debris from the blades). Anyway, he's placing most of his severed fingers under the pillow tonight, in hopes that the "finger fairy" will come and leave some kind of compensation. I have $3.18 in change, but I really needed that for the bus tomorrow. Any keen ideas on how I should handle this poor lad's expectations?
