I accidentally damaged my lawn mower's brake cable?
It was a new Craftsman gas powered self propelled lawn mower and I have no clue how it works. I fixed the handles first and I didn't know that that cable was stuck in between the two metal pieces and I tightened it. Next thing i noticed that it was stuck and was slightly damaged. A little piece of the rubber protection was cut and something metallic that's like spiral is partially bent. I'm guessing that spiral protects the main brake cable. So should I be worried and replace it before using it. It's going to be my first time using a lawn mower so please be very informative. Also, when can I get the part (brake cable)? thanks.
