How much is this lawn mower worth?
I have a 1961 "original" Cub Cadet IH Lawn Tractor. It has the original 7hp kohler, it does NOT have: rear fenders,3 point hitch,mowing deck. It does have the regular pin hitch, rear tractor tread tires in great shape, front turf tires, EVERYTHING works perfectly. It smokes a tiny bit at startup but then immediately cleans right up, it has a 3 inch stack and is painted red. The paint is a little faded but mechanically everything works. How much do you think this thing is worth?
The parts are abundant on ebay, and around here they are also available fairly easily. As far as parts go for the motor, they can all be found new at my local small engine shop.

Parts for that thing are going to be impossible to find. So, anyone that buys the thing would never be able to fix it. And, where could anyone possibly find a mower deck for a machine that is 49 years old? The only thing it could be used for is to pull a cart around - until something breaks and it can't be repaired.
