pregnant people using riding lawn mowers?
Am healthy and have a healthy pregnancy (thus far). I will be 7 mos. pregnant shortly and yesterday just bought a riding lawn mower which of course ppl. who know me think is nuts. I just went on an international 12 hr. flight w/ 2 kids (ages 3 + 5) and came back last sunday, so I'm thinking riding a lawn mower on a 40,000 sq. foot lot (about 1/2 acre which isn't all covered w/ grass luckily) w/ regular height grass isn't going to be that much of a challenge...
have you rode any lawn equipment/farm equipment while in your last trimester and nothing disastrous happened?
Go ahead and ride that mower, more than likly the only thing you will feel is a bit of a massage from the vibrations or a slight back ache. Unless you are already dialated or contracting you aren't going to get thrown in labor by a lawn mower. Obviously just don't stick your hands or feet in the blades duh and don't go up hills or do tight turns that might cause the mower to tip.
