Both of the end are touching one point of the frame after hitting a rock while mowing the lawn. Help?
After hitting a rock with my lawn mower my engine stopped. Now when trying to start it seems like the flywheel key is slipping. Both ends of the blade touch the same point of the frame when i try to turn the blade manually.
Remove the spark plug boot and ground it out. Tip the mower with the carburetor side up and have someone pull it over to see the crankshaft is bent. If it is, you probably need a new mower. If the crank isn't bent, I would replace the blade, check the blade adapter and bolt and replace the sheared flywheel key and try it.
