Lawn mower will not start after running this year?
This mower is 2 years old. I have never had a problem with it starting before now, first pull, every time. Even this season, first pull and started. Now all of a sudden, I pump the primer; it starts, but cuts out as soon as gas is burned from priming. It does get spark from the magneto to the plug, but when I pull out the plug, it is wet with gas. New magneto with same results. Changed plug, but same result. Nothing appears to be stopped up with debris. Also, how much gap should there be on the magneto?

Regardless of position of valve, still have problem
If it runs at all the problem is not electronic. If the spark plug is wet it is flooding. Remove the air filter check the the butterfly flapper in the carberator. Does it move with the choke control? Will the motor run with out the Air filter in place? Clean the filter. Wash it with soap and water wring it out and dry thourouly, then put a few ounces of motor oil on it and knead it until oil is evenly distributed.
