Why is there oil leaking from my Honda Self-propelled lawn mower?
There is oil leaking from the front of the engine. I checked oil and I filled it to the normal level and I have cleaned the oil filter. The oil is black. There is a circle of oil that leaked going around the perimeter of the engine on the deck. What could cause this?
Without being able to see it I can only guess. The most likely place for oil to leak would be the valve cover. Clean all the oil and the engine and see if you can pin point the leak.
