Lawn Mower Pulling Tires
What is wrong with my lawn mower?

It started fine and I mowed for like 30 seconds, it bogged down and shut off. The grass is not tall and I mow on the highest setting. I started it again mowed for about 5 min. and it did it again. Then I started trying to "save" it from shutting off. I would hear the engine bogging down and pull the mower out of gear. Needless to say I got tired of doing that and gave up. Please help. Oil was a little low but nothing to worry about.

Use Stay-Bil in the gas and of course as said above check you air filter. If you're handy take off the carburetor and spray it with carburetor cleaner if you only have throttle body cleaner that will work just fine. Be careful taking it on and off you don't want to break the seal. Also for the reference in the future use Stay-Bil before every winter. And also I would recommend installing a gas shut off valve in your gas line and then run it dry with the valve shut off. It will prevent gas sitting in the carburetor and turning to varnish and gumming up vital parts. Good luck and hope this helps.
