Can a driveway that is cement & chipped up be painted over some how & smoothed out?
I have a double sized driveway & a side walk that are in bad shape. My husband has used a pressure washed on them & takes the lawn mower over them with the blade on. In the winter we get snow & I can hear him scraping it up from the driveway. So this is the kind of damage it has. It there something I can put over top of it all to make it look fresh & new?
you could probably mix up some thin-set mortar a little on the wet side and fill the rivets or missing chunks with that. you will need to use a spackle knife or putty knife to smooth it out. you also may need to add more mortar after the initial application has had a chance to dry. Make sure you scrape up the excess, or any that drips where you don't want it.
