how can i wire up a a button starter on my lawn mower?
do i hook it to the solenoid or skip that completel and have a hot lead and the hot lead goind to the starter i need a diagram or sumthing
I would run a hot wire from battery to the switch then run second wire from other side of switch to the small control wire on the solenoid. The reason for this is the large wire going to the starter will carry enough current to melt a push button switch. You will need to leave the key switch in the circuit as all the safety switches go through it to allow your mower to run. Hope this helps
