What is the best way to check for spark on an engine?
I was trouble shooting my lawn mower that didn't SEEM to have a spark. Without taking the spark plug out and looking for a spark, or having my neighbor hold the end of the wire, what is the best and easiest way to check for spark? Do they make a device? I tried my timing light, but it was awkward to hold and didn't seem to light even after I fixed the problem.
