Mistakenly put engine oil into gas tank - Honda mower?
I mistakenly put engine oil into gas tank for a brand new Honda Mower. I have flipped the mower and empty the gas tank. What should I do next? Please help me. Thank.
Put a quart or so of gas in the tank and slosh it around to wash away as much oil as you can. Dump that out. Then fill the tank normally and carry on as usual.
It may smoke for a while, but should be OK in the long run.
