What should I use an Alternator a Drive Coil or Dynamo?
I have an old murray 10/30 10hp ride on lawn mower which is in good condition and the engine works fine. it charges the Battery but only a by a little, if i turn it off and then on a few minutes later it will come on but if i leave it over night it wont turn on again i am thinking of replacing the batter and the thing that charges it but i don't know which i have on the mower since its at our holiday home. Should i use an alternator a drive coil or a dynamo or what? please Help and cheers in advance any help will be appreciated
either the batery is bad or you have a short in the system
i wouldnt just throw parts at it get it tested
