Murray Riding Lawn Mower - Help w/ clutch spring & others?

I have a Murray Riding Lawn Mower Model: 40508X92D. If I would have taken pictures before I pulled the thing apart, I wouldn't be in this spot, but I didn't, so here I am.
I pulled the belly off & detached these springs. I put them back the way I "thought" they went and I don't think I'm correct. The clutch has a little tension when pushing down, but not nearly as much as it had before & it doesn't come back up as far, either.

It's hard to tell from those pictures but I don't believe the brake spring (the heavier one in pic 1141282) is connected properly. If I am correct then your brakes will not work at all. I'd have someone apply the clutch (with the motor off) while you check the springs. You should be able to see if something is not connected properly then.
