how can i remove the blades in a riding lawn mower, john deere L108.?

what tools can i use to sharp the blades?
The best way to sharpen them is to use a bench grinder. The original blades aren't the best quality and can only be sharpened a time or two. New blades can be found at tons of hardware stores and are pretty inexpensive.... sometimes it is just as easy to buy new ones.
