I put oil in my gas tank by mistake what do i do?
I was at home and went to the shed to get a gas tank like the small red ones, and i think it had motor oil or somthing for the lawn mower in the gasoline. is it fine to drive with it? i need to get up to the gas station to fill it cause its empty empty
How much did you put in? Usually the little red can holds about 2 gallons. The oil in the two strokers is made to be burned and act as a lubricant, so running it through your car isn't going to hurt it for a short duration. How far is the gas station? I wouldn't recommend driving 100 miles on a gas oil mix, but if your only going a few miles down the road, then it won't be a problem. Be sure to fill the tank when you get to the station, that way you maximize the dilution of the gas/oil mix.
