snapper lawn mower wont crank?
i changed over from a blown 12 hp to a 8 horsepower. it turned over for a few min then it stopped the silonoid clicks when i turn the key. brand new battery fuel and filters. the starter gets real hot maybe wired wrong can someone help. my silonoid is 2 post and a little slide switch.one ground one positive i think
If you cranked the starter over for a few minutes straight, then you more than likely overheated and fried your starter motor. Those starters are only meant for short burst of high torque and are not designed to dissipate the heat generated by continuous cranking. That's why it got so hot, and hot in starters, is bad.
